Engine rebuild £270
This applies only if we are supplied with just the engine (ie already removed from the bike).
Price includes brand new bearings, new seals, new water pump, new oil belt and new gaskets.
The engine is stripped and everything removed, degreased and inspected. The parts listed above are replaced. Any other parts found to be faulty will be replaced at the customers cost if agreed. The engine is then rebuilt and the squish is checked.
N.B. Engines returned via courier will be returned with no gearbox oil. It is the customer's responsibiity to replace the oil before running the engine.

Engine clean £120
*THIS CAN ONLY BE OFFERED WITH A FULL ENGINE REBUILD
The engine is stripped and all bearings in the case are removed. The kickstart mechanism is removed, as well as the rolling nut bearing in the side case. The cases are blasted, all threads checked and any broken bolts removed. Broken threads are helicoiled (up to 3 helicoils included in price).
All bearings are replaced in the case and the rolling nut bearing in the side case and the kickstart mechanism refitted.
We offer engine tuning to customers' specifications. From an all out drag racing engine, to a reliable mile-munching rally bike, we can flow cases, port barrels and add any extras that are needed to ensure you go away with a smile on your face.
We specialise in Gilera Runners, but also of course tune Italjet Dragster engines, Piaggio Typhoons, and in fact various other models too.
We have the added benefit of in house dyno facilities, enabling us to quantify the tune supplied, and to set the engine up to it's maximum potential.

Barrel porting - £90
We will port either a Malossi 172 kit, a standard 180 barrel or a PM Tuning Pro Street kit to suit a 52mm crank. This includes modifying the exhaust port and the piston.
The barrel is matched to standard cases if supplied, or, for an additional £60, can be cut to your cases if a template is supplied.

We will port either a Malossi 172 kit, a standard 180 barrel or a PM Tuning Pro Street kit to suit a 54mm or 55mm crank, for use without the spacer. This includes modifying the exhaust port, transfers, the piston and the head.
The transfer entry is opened up so you will need to match your case to the barrel.
Flowing cases - £110
Part of the surface finish will involve blasting, so the cases need to be empty.
N.B. These engines will run on premix due to the original oil pump not delivering the correct ratio of oil. Due to the original waterpump’s unreliability you also need to run an electric water pump. They are kick start only due to the starter motor not supplying enough power to turn over the increased compression.
Your engine rebuilt and tuned as an SRT183 engine -
You supply the engine, with or without the bike. The engine will be stripped down, fully cleaned and blasted. The waterpump is removed and blanked off by welding.The cases are flowed and it is then rebuilt with brand new bearings and seals. We supply and fit a 55mm long stroke crankshaft.
We supply a PM Pro Street II 172 kit with centre fired head. The port timings and exhaust port are altered, and the head is modified. We also lighten the flywheel, and front pulley, removing the starter motor.
An electric water pump needs to be fitted. We recommend the Davies Craig Electric Booster Pump DCP9001, available from Demon Tweeks.
For this engine spec to work to its full potential we recommend fitting a secondary gear up kit, V-force reeds, and a PM59 exhaust with TSAB, or alternatively an Auspuff Bullet custom made stainless steel exhaust. We can supply and fit all these if required.
You will also need a PWK 28mm flatslide carb. we recommend using an original Keihin carb, which we can supply, and a Malossi Kevlar belt.
Once all parts have been fitted the engine is set up on the dyno.
